In the second part of the finale of the famous series ‘Twilight’, adapted from the novels written by Stephenie Meyer, we see the human turned vampire Bella (Kristen Stewart) leading a happily married life with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and discovering her new vampire powers. After the birth of their daughter, Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) things are looking good for the Cullens, until the vampire Irina (Maggie Grace) of the Denali clan misidentifies Renesmee as an immortal child to the Volturi.

The Volturi are the sinister authorities in the vampire world, and have condemned any child that has been converted to a vampire to death, as they are impossible to control. Bella tries to explain that  she has given birth to Renesmee, instead of her being converted to one from a mortal child. The Volturi are not one to listen and decide to destroy the Cullens altogether, as they believe that Renesmee can challenge their existence. An epic battle ensues, where the Cullens must take help from fellow covens to stand witness to the fact that Renesmee is not an immortal child, but half human. Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene reprise their roles as werewolf Jacob Black and vampire Alice Cullen respectively. The movie stars Dakota Fanning as Jane, Michael Sheen as Aro and Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, all members of the dreaded Volturi.

The ending for the movie is quite different from what Stephenie Meyer ended her series with. She, along with screenplay writer Melissa Rosenberg, altered the ending, and everyone, including the actors and director Bill Condon, is very satisfied with it.
